Bedelsford School installation
All weather protection was required for two outdoor play areas at this school in Kingston Upon Thames. We needed to provide retractable roof systems so that the yards at Bedelsford School could be light and airy, especially when not raining. An existing fixed roof at one area had proved unsuccessful because of insect accumulation.
Vibrant colours were required due to the nature of the business, to make it an interesting and inviting area for the children, and this was easily made possible from the wide choice of Weinor RAL options.
Rainwater drainage is dealt with effectively with the built in guttering system to ensure the least back feed of rainwater.
Two Weinor Pergotex systems were fitted. One at 13m width and 4.5m projection, and another at 10m width with 4m projection. These were fitted by our own trained installers, guaranteeing a quality finish.
Two large areas were covered by these systems with the vertical fabric blinds to the sides for total weather protection when required, and the option to choose which side to protect.
