We have installed several Markilux 6000 awnings, the flagship full cassette Markilux retractable awning onto purpose built steel structures to provide protection from dust particles in a very sensitive assembly area for Siemens.
The factory was having issues with the dust particles, and asked for solution. With consultation this proved to be the most suitable answer, providing an operative with overhead potection from potentially damaging particles whilst in a crucial stage of assembly for very high tech and expensive sensitive equipment.
This proves that the range of possible usages for these awnings are far broader than may first be apparent, and they can be used to shelter both people and equipment from more than just sun and rainfall.
