Markilux Pergola
The Pergola is an awning system on support posts with lateral guide tracks to provide far better stability in higher winds as experienced in the UK. The Pergola offers stylish protection from both the sun and inclement weather for larger areas than can be provided by a normal retractable self-supporting awning. “As sleek and slender as possible whilst still offering a maximum of shade” was the design brief given to the engineers developing the markilux pergola. This awning system resting on slender posts with unobtrusive lateral guide tracks permits the stylish shading of even very large areas. Up to 30m² can be shaded by awnings with a width of 500cm and extensions of up to 600 cm. The maximum width of 600 cm allows extensions of up to 450cm to be achieved. And the markilux pergola can be coupled up to three times.
